PRMA completes 6500 natural breast reconstruction surgeries

PRMA Plastic Surgery has hit another milestone and it’s one for the record books! As of January 19, 2015, our surgeons have performed over 6,500 breast reconstruction surgeries with over 5,500 being microsurgical (free flap) procedures.

“It’s wonderful to know so many lives have been changed by reconstructive breast surgery, and I am so thankful to our team of physicians who dedicate so much of themselves to make such an impact, says Dr. Steven Pisano after hearing the news.

PRMA is one of the few centers in the World performing breast reconstruction on such a large scale and is leading the way in advanced reconstructive procedures like the DIEP flap.

“We have certainly come a long way in the past 20 years. I am so thankful to be part of such a great team,” says Dr. Chet Nastala.

Congratulations team!
