Dr. Chet Nastala

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Chet Nastala graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and completed medical school at Duke University. Dr. Nastala then attended the University of Pittsburgh for a nine-year post-graduate program that integrates the disciplines of plastic surgery, general surgery, microvascular surgery, and surgical oncology research.

As a member of the PRMA reconstructive and plastic surgery team in San Antonio, Dr. Chet Nastala brings his impressive education and experience to our practice. He has served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center and as the Director of the Plastic Surgery training program at the Health Center. Dr. Nastala is also board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Nastala's skill and experience in breast reconstruction and microsurgery bring a unique experience to our  patients, allowing him to offer the full range of reconstruction options to our patients. His knowledge and experience have led him to lecture on the latest techniques available for breast lift, short scar breast reduction, and skin sparing breast reconstruction techniques.
