BRA Day is almost here! Join us October 17th 2012 for San Antonio’s first breast reconstruction awareness day hosted by PRMA Plastic Surgery.

With only 30 percent of women aware of their options for breast reconstruction after mastectomy, BRA Day SA is geared towards raising community awareness of reconstructive options.

PRMA surgeon Steven Pisano says that knowing all options before going into surgery is crucial. “We believe all women with breast cancer should be well informed concerning all aspects of their treatment options, including reconstruction, before they ever go into surgery,” Pisano says.

“Our hope is that by having events like BRA Day, we will be able to help breast cancer patients make more informed decisions regarding treatment and reconstructive options.”

To date PRMA Plastic Surgery has performed breast reconstruction surgeries on over 4,000 patients around the country. Our surgeons specialize in DIEP flap, SIEA flap, GAP flap, TUG flap, fat grafting and Alloderm one-step procedures. PRMA is in-network with most insurance and accepts patients from across the country and around the world.

BRA Day SA will be held at the Witte Museum, 3801 Broadway St. from 6-9pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. For more information on BRA Day SA please click here. RSVP to [email protected].
