The San Antonio community gathered together Friday night to support the local non-profit Overcomers in their first annual gala.

It was a lovely event featuring a runway show honoring men who have impacted the breast cancer community in a positive way. The male honorees were nominated by their patients and loved ones.

All the PRMA surgeons were nominated and joined the other nominated men in the community on the runway sporting a uniquely designed tie. The ties were designed by students a The Art Institute. Each tie represented something special. At the end, each tie was auctioned off and all funds raised will go to Overcomers to help support breast cancer patients and their families.

“It was a tremendous honor to be nominated along with my fellow colleagues for this event,” stated Dr. Peter Ledoux. “It was so wonderful to see many of our patients enjoy the evening and join together to raise awareness and funds for this amazing support organization.”

“We are really proud of our patients Genny and Jessica for overcoming breast cancer and using their experience to help others in such an impactful way,” continued Dr. Minas Chrysopoulo.

Thank you again to the Overcomers organization and the many wonderful patients who nominated the surgeons of PRMA for this amazing honor. We truly enjoyed this amazing event and can’t wait to see how this organization continues to positively impact the breast cancer community.
