I had diep flap done in 11/12 & my abdominal incision came open & didn’t heal until 2/13. In 7/13 I ha scar revision on it done & dead fat tissue removed from breast. In 10/13 I had more revision done on breast & still cannot wear bra as breast is too big and scars had broken open after surgery and are still sore. I’ve had 5 surgeries since my mastectomy in 1/12. It went bad & I had to have latissimus flap 2 weeks later. No one looked at it for the 2 weeks & I got necrosis. I have bad scar where flap stitches were taken out too soon. I’d arranged to have the diep flap there but couldn’t afford the trips. I so wish I could get there to have this fixed. If I ever get the chance or get breast cancer again I’m coming to you.

Sweet Phyllis, I hate that you had such a poor experience with your breast reconstruction! Breast cancer is difficult enough without the added stress of complications during reconstruction. I truly pray you never have to encounter cancer again. You should know however that PRMA routinely performs revision surgeries for out of state patients. We would love the opportunity to serve you and restore what cancer took from you. Please give me a call any time at 800-692-5565. Happy New Year!
