Edwin Acevedo, MD

Dr. Edwin Acevedo is a fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon at PRMA Plastic Surgery in San Antonio, specializing in advanced breast reconstruction, microsurgery, and aesthetic surgery.

A graduate of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Acevedo completed his general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital and his plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at UTHealth Houston. His academic achievements include induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies, recognition as Resident Educator of the Year, and numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications.

Beyond his surgical expertise, Dr. Acevedo is deeply committed to providing compassionate, individualized care. He believes every woman deserves a surgeon who not only delivers exceptional results but also listens, advocates, and stands beside her throughout her journey.
