Dr. Peter Ledoux received his M.D. from Wayne State University in 1987. As part of his medical training Dr. Ledoux has completed multiple internships, residencies, fellowships and has participated in medical studies. Dr. Ledoux discovered his talent in plastic and reconstructive surgery while training at the University Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Ledoux cofounded Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgical Associates (PRMA) of South Texas in 1994 with his colleague and friend Dr. Pisano. He is associated with the Methodist Healthcare System and most often performs procedures at the Methodist Hospital on Floyd Curl. Dr. Ledoux has participated in writing many breast reconstruction articles, presenting lectures and was featured on Kens5 News.

Dr. Peter Ledoux is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Both of these boards have been acknowledged and awarded membership by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Dr. Ledoux is also a member of the following medical organizations and societies:

This was one of the better plastic surgeon I ever had Dr Petter Ledoux was the best. Dr Ledoux and staff answered all my questions related to my surgery and also the hospital stay where I had my surgery took really great care of me..I would recommend Anyone who is needing a Deip Flap surgery to come to Prma plastic surgery it’s well worth it. I can’t wait to get into phase two of my second surgery. And also jonnie is my nurse for Dr Ledoux she is very helpful and will help you get all the info you need to prepare for your surgery. Also Lauren, I promise this place will not let you down the whole staff team is one of the best. So if you looking to have surgery for reconstruct related to breast cancer plz please don’t hesitate. Give them a call. and not to mention I was so grateful when Dr Ledoux said a prayer for me just for my surgery. So again plz give PRMA A CALL you will not be disappointed.

I am so very thankful for Dr. Ledoux ~ he is the best surgeon who truly cares for his patients and goes above and beyond, taking the time to answer all of my questions and even pray with me and my family before surgery. Cancer is overwhelming, but Dr. Ledoux always takes the time to listen and encourage. I just had my phase 2 consultation for my DIEP flap reconstruction and am looking forward to this next step. I’m truly amazed at his work. My experience with Dr. Ledoux and the staff at PRMA continues to be exceptional, I highly recommend! Thank you Dr. Ledoux!!

PRMA has the BEST of physicians for all your breast cancer needs and reconstruction. Dr. Peter Ledoux takes the time to listen and cares about your needs and concerns. Jonnie his nurse is SUPERB! The most important part I want to mention is, he took a moment to pray with me before surgery and as a Christian it meant the world to me. Thank you Dr. Peter Ledoux!
