Shelley was born in San Diego, CA but grew up in Plano, TX. She graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. She then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and graduated in the summer of 2004 with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
She worked from 2004 to 2010 in Houston, TX for a large orthopaedic surgery group and then moved to San Antonio and joined PRMA in the summer of 2010.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
