Angel is a native of Brownsville, TX but has called San Antonio home since 2001. She attended and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science.
After working as a research assistant at CTRC and the US Army Institute for Surgical Research, she attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated in 2009 with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Angel joined PRMA in the fall of 2009. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants.
