Dr Bailey

Dr. Bailey is a sixth generation Texan born and raised in Houston.  She attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a degree in biology and a minor in history. She went on to attend The University of Texas at Houston Medical School. In medical school, Dr. Bailey worked in a basic science research lab all four years studying traumatic brain injury model in children.

She went on to complete her General Surgery internship and residency at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.  During her time in General Surgery, Dr. Bailey was inspired by the complexity of traumatic and cancer reconstruction. As a result, she pursued a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern.

During her fellowship she had extensive exposure to breast reconstruction and microsurgical techniques under some of the leading physicians in the field. Dr. Bailey is looking forward to continuing to grow her practice and expand her expertise.

Dr. Bailey is proud to take care of her fellow Texans. Apart from breast reconstruction, she is interested in cosmetic surgery, predominantly of the breast and body. She truly believes that our body and mind are what allow us to pursue our dreams, our passions and those things that bring us joy. Dr. Bailey’s training reflects the best Texas has to offer and looks forward to bringing that to her patients.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She will read just about any book and when the weather is agreeable, she enjoys hiking, skiing and spending time in the creek.
