when you spouse is diagnosed with breast cancer

What’s it like being the husband of a breast cancer patient?

With one in eight women being diagnosed with breast cancer each year, its sometimes easy to forget those that are going through it with them – the men that support them along their journey. Whether it is a husband, father, brother or even friend, many men are not sure how to react and what to do after a loved one has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

It’s important that they know they are not alone. Two of our patients husbands share their stories, feelings and offer advice for others going through a loved ones breast cancer diagnosis. They hope to inspire and encourage other men and most importantly, let them know that there is hope and they will be victorious.
